The historic inns and university buildings around Nassau Street are beautiful and genuinely constrained — narrow doorways, half-landings, staircases that turn. We build to the room here more than anywhere else we work, which sometimes means two narrower sections rather than one 8ft span, joined so the seam does not read in a photograph. That is a conversation before you book, not a discovery on the day.
The academic calendar drives everything else. Graduation and reunion weekends put every venue and every road under strain at once, and the answer for those dates is to book early and accept an unusually early load-in. Off that calendar, Princeton is one of the more relaxed places in the state to schedule.
